Portrait Art is a one-man operation based in The Wirral in the
North West of England and specialises in the production of custom artwork
based on photos of family and friends. Although I paint most of my portraits
from photographs I am happy to provide quotes for paintings from life. Now
in my mid-30's, I have been painting portrait commissions for around 15
years.
I grew up in West Kirby in The Wirral before moving to Cornwall in 1991,
where I lived until 2005. My Cornwall landscape art can be seen here.
I developed my painting style after initially studying the work of the Impressionists,
before incorporating various other influences through the years. I paint
in acrylics on canvas, allowing me to work quickly and fluidly.
I don't have a studio/gallery to visit but I am happy to answer any questions
